Canton Trip

I forgot how awesome Canton, TX is on first Monday. My good friend Sara was in town last weekend from OK and I was so excited to get to hang out with her, it had been way too long. So Sara, my other good friend Nicole and I pilled in the car and took a day trip to Canton. It started out a little hectic because I got us lost, but we took some back roads and it ended up being a nice scenic route (oops!). We had the best day catching up and walking around the arbors. Sara found some great gifts and I found two pieces of art for the house.  One piece for above the bed which I love and another metal piece for the stairs.  I just couldn't get over how reasonable all of the prices were there.  Definitely going back next time I need home decor/gifts.

Utah Ski Trip

At the end of February we took a ski trip to Park Cities, Utah which none of us had been before.  We rented an amazing house and had a really fun group of about 12 of us.  The snow was good and it was so fun to try a different place other than Colorado.

There were actually 12 people on this trip,
but from the looks of the pics you would never guess.

Here starts the pics of the amazing house.
This is the main kitchen. There was also another equally as nice kitchen in the basement

New Year, New House

Home Sweet Home!
We finally moved into our house on Dec 23rd and the next day were so excited to have snow. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with family and enjoyed time off to get settled into the house. It's been a little over a month and it is really starting to feel warm and cozy.

Summer Vacations!

This summer really flew by and I can't believe it is already August. Sorry I have been so behind on the blog. This summer was filled with a few really fun trips that kept me busy. We started off with a Losada family trip to Miami/Key West. Cara brought her friend Leigh Ann and we had such a great time. As soon as I got back from that trip I left for a work conference in Vegas which was so fun because I got to hang out with Amanda and see their cute home. Later in the Summer my mom and I decided to visit my cousin Brooke and aunt Sharon in LA. They were living there for the summer while Brooke interned for Dr. Phil. It turned into a big family trip and we got to see my other cousin Ryne, who is playing baseball in Long Beach for the Long Beach Armada.

Miami/Key West

Welcome to Miami (South Beach)!
We had one night to explore and see South Beach Miami before heading to Key West. It was very different then what I expected. Parts of it seemed dangerous so we hung out at the Hotels which have really nice large patios that open up to the beach. We started at the Delano and then went to the Shore Club. The music and atmosphere was awesome. Great DJ's and good people watching, however we knew this night was going to be expensive when I asked for well vodka and got a $16 Grey Goose. YIKES! What happened to Absolut?

South Beach

Key West
This part of the trip was so relaxing. We had beautiful sunsets every night and during the day we would just lay out, read and if we were feeling ambitious head into town to explore.
